NEM.e.sis in session at Runway Studios

September 4, 2013

I had a lovely time on Monday recording at Runway studios, cranking up what I’ve decided to call some “punk improv” with my kids.

The studio is in a fantastic setting, an old RAF landing ground, a vast space dotted with monolithic, obscure stone structures.

Perhaps we should call the album "Perspectives"

Thanks to Adrienne and Dan for being so helpful and tolerant of our fairly basic, “hit and run” approach to music making.

OK it’s not a Marshall Stack – but it sounded great!

Prog lovers may like this battered copy of a book of Roger Dean art work (NB We don’t do prog…)

I’d recommend Runway Studios to any musicians based in Aylesbury or West Herts or anywhere really.

Great piano sound! We had a great time! And thanks again to Adrienne and Dan for making it such a great day.
