I’ve become intimately acquainted with how top-sliced systems work across the globe. Or rather, how they don’t.

Says the BBC’s Greg Sanderson in this article for Broadcast.

…everyone is better served by a broadcaster with their own desire to screen good PSB shows, than by a bureaucratic system which trusts in no-one, and therefore fails to reach the very people it was designed to serve.
